We opened for the Adolescents last week for a secret show at the Doll Hut in Anaheim and it went off. those guys are tighter than ever. They are Agnew-less right now and their lead guitar player is only 16 years old. He is from a band called the wrecking crew and he shreds on guitar.
i will be at both the Philly show and the cbgb show. The Street Dogs are a great band and a great bunch of guys.
It sucks I can't make it there that night. Not just that the bands are badass, but I'm a big fan of shows at the Troc in general. The last show I saw there was the Souls back in June and it was undoubtedly the greatest thing ever.
Is anybody else gonna be there the 20th and 21st to see Rancid? H2O's opening for them one of the nights; I forget which one...

That 16 year old playing guitar for the wrecking crew is Frank Agnew Jr.... yep he replaced his uncle Rikk Agnew years ago now. When they fired Rikk, they asked Two- Bags to fill in for a couple upcoming shows, which he nobly did. Then they brought Jr. in shortly after. Matt Beld (Cadillac Tramps, Los Infernos, Kissfits, and Saint Mary) will be filling in for Frank Sr. on this tour. He fills in for Manic sometimes too.Originally posted by wolfpits:

i dont mean to be rude erica, but neither frank and frank jr are on tour with them. The kid from the Wrecking crew, I think his name is Joe, is playing all the leads and is touring with them right now. I wouldnt have expected you to know this since you couldnt make it thursday....This 16 year old kid is really good.

it's true i asked tony about the agnew's.
something about they're only doing socal shows.
joe from wrecking crew has a mean lead that kid can "rip it up".(wrecking crew is great too check'em out) i believe filling in for frank sr. is matt?? no joke here either.
kay and i caught the show in denver. and will do the same here in slc. gotta support oc when/where i can(that's where my heart is)
